Tesco Milk Farmers Now 100% Dedicated

We’re pleased to tell you that all the arrangements are now in place for Tesco to have a dedicated supply of milk from farmers across the UK. This change means that around 800 farmers will benefit from greater security in the supply chain and that they will get one of the highest prices for milk in the UK. The change underlines our commitment to fair prices for both consumers and farmers.
This new deal is in addition to the introduction of ‘localchoice’ milk launched in May 2007 which gives higher returns to smaller, family owned farms in line with their higher production costs.
