Welfare Training: FCCA in conjunction with the Humane Slaughter Association (HSA) has created a uniquely different one day practical animal welfare training course. The training is designed to be delivered in house for all red meat, poultry and fish species. Each course is bespoke; tailored to an individual company’s system, requirements and objectives. It translates theory into practice; showing how to make the best of current handling and stunning/slaughter systems. The objective is to increase welfare outcomes on site. While primarily aimed at key workers ‘actually doing the job’, the course has benefits for employees and management alike. Training for multi site/ multi level (farms/hatcheries/ catching team) packages are available and can be discounted.

Consultancy & Training Package: We provide consultancy in conjunction with our training as a package thus developing both people and systems. This aids new TESCO suppliers to comply with both the standards and welfare training required.
