Fiddleford Mushrooms - Tesco have been working closely with Fiddleford Mushrooms, a 100% dedicated supplier of fresh mushrooms for 11 years.  Husband and Wife, Marc and Michelle Gibbs run this family business in Sturminstor Newton, Dorset which is committed to growing quality, wholesome food using sustainable farming practices.

Fiddleford supplies 23 tonnes of fresh mushrooms each week to Tesco Southampton Depot, which is less than one hour from the farm.  Typically, mushrooms supplied by Fiddleford are on the shelves in Tesco Stores within 24 hours of being picked.

Fiddleford Mushrooms is committed to ensuring that its business activities are carried out with no adverse impact on the environment.  The farm has achieved Gold Standard under Tesco Nature’s Choice and 100% conformance under the Assured Produce Scheme and BRC Global Standards. 

In February 2007 the farm was awarded the LEAF Marque, confirming its commitment to linking enhancement of the environment to its farming practices.  Fiddleford Mushrooms is actively working towards a sustainable future for its business, the energy it requires to function and the environment in which it sits.
