Chris Pratt - Local Producer of Pratt's Rapeseed Oil

Pratt’s Rapeseed oil was a winner of the Quality Food Awards in 2007 and is the brain-child of young Hampshire farmer, 25yr old Chris Pratt. Pratt’s Rapeseed Oil is now available in 23 Hampshire & Surrey Tesco stores. His business is based on their small family farm in Grateley, Andover, Hampshire where the rape is grown and Chris can trace his product to the exact field it was grown in. His product contains no artificial additives or preservatives.

Chris has developed his brand so he can stay working in the industry he loves. “It can be difficult for young farmers to find a place in the UK farming industry. The benefits of rapeseed oil; health benefits and reduction of food miles, combined with the high quality of the home grown British product make rapeseed “the new olive oil”.”

Extra Virgin cold pressed rape seed oil can be used in cooking (frying, roasting, stir- fry, marinades & sauces), as a replacement to butter in flapjacks, cakes & bread or as a salad dressing.
