Finest Beef
Our Finest beef is predominantly produced from suckler beef cattle. These cattle are specifically bred for improved conformation and eating quality. They are born and reared with their mothers in grass fields, before being weaned. They are generally housed in the winter, when the fields are too muddy, and then graze the fields in the summer. They are fed a cereal-based diet in addition to the grass, as this has been shown to improve beef tenderness.
All the farms are farm-assured and our suppliers ensure the cattle are always purchased directly from the farmer- never through livestock markets.
We make sure that our abattoirs operate to the highest standards, with animal welfare their priority.
The beef is specially matured to ensure it always delivers exceptional flavour and tenderness.
