Operating from five major processing Dairies in Aberdeen, East Kilbride, Glasgow, Manchester and Droitwich Spa, Wiseman Dairies provides a consistently high quality product, all year round. Robert Wiseman Dairies was founded by Robert Wiseman Senior in 1947. Delivering of milk was carried out by means of a horse and cart with cans and glass bottles the only means of packing milk in those days! The business of milk processing and distribution has developed considerably since that period and Wiseman has driven its own development through technological innovation and investment.
In recent years Wiseman Dairies has invested heavily in value added milk. Particular success stories have been the Tesco Pure and Omega 3 brands. In fact Tesco has enjoyed market leadership of the extended shelf life milk with Tesco Pure earning in excess of £10m per annum. The success of the ‘Pure’ brand led to Wiseman Dairies receiving the Tesco Values award for delivering ‘First for Customers’ in October of 2005.
Omega 3 offers an alternative milk drink that is full of health benefits! Not only does the Omega 3 drink offer the usual health benefits of milk but also has the extra Vitamins of A, C and D that help with the immune systems, vision, bone structure, cell division, absorption of calcium as well as phosphorus. In particular, Vitamin C helps our bodies to heal and has anti oxidant properties to protect us from free radicals!
Wiseman Dairies focus continues to be on the liquid milk sector, where it has now developed a strong track record with Tesco.
