Tesco have been working closely with Stourgarden an exclusive onion grower and supplier for 11 years. Brothers Bill and John Rix run the family business.

They are growing and packing in excess of 30,000 tonnes of British Onions per year for Tesco. Stourgarden and Tesco have been working together to increase British Onion supply and reduce need for imports. Bill and John are at the forefront of developing new varieties and have pioneered the new "Finest" Field Fresh Onion, which they believe delivers the ultimate in a crisp.
